My name is Jenny Cartmell and I’m an art psychotherapist in Brooklyn. I offer individual therapy to young adults and teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem and self-image issues. I’m particularly interested in working with adoptees, or individuals who experienced early attachment disruption.
I received my Master’s in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute, and I have a background in psychology and studio art. My background includes working with children and adults of all ages in various settings. I’m a member of the American Art Therapy Association. You can find out more about my background here.
I currently work under the supervision of Terésa Stern, LCSW, SEP. Click here to learn more about Terésa’s work.
